The Dolphin Complex is in a quiet location of Didum which has a great location; 450m from the Altinkum/Didim town centre where you will find restaurants, cafés, markets and shops which are open all year round.

Didim offers shopping and also a number of restaurants.  These tend of offer typically Turkish cuisine than those in Altinkum.  Didims restaurants are good value and definitely worth trying.  There are numerous supermarkets close by and it is easy to purchase familiar products.  Sterling is very popular and the exchange rates tends to be better than the UK.

Altinkum benefits from three beach areas, all well maintained and there are sunbeds and parasol hire and watersports available.  If you want a quiet beach side location then choose the third beach. 

When shopping remember to haggle - it's expected and it's fun!  You will find bargains almost everywhere but particularly in leather goods, onyx and jewellery.

The location of Altinkum makes it an ideal base, for tours to explore the culture of such places as Ephesus and Pammukale being only a few hours away. The Apollo Temple is just a 10 minute walk up the road.

Airport

  • 85km from Bodrum Airport which is open for charter flights for 7 months from UK airports. Airport transfers can be arranged for £35 each way up to 5 persons from Bodrum airport.
  • 140km from Izmir International Airport which is open whole year round for charter/schedule flights from UK Airports. Airport transfers can be arranged for £50 one way from Izmir airport.

Beach

  • There is a complex minibus to take you to the beach (5 mins drive) free, or if you prefer you can walk in about 35 minutes.
